Baram is a simple Mac app that does not collect any data about you. The rest of this page explains what that means in practice, and what the app does keep.
Baram has no networking code at all: it never connects to the internet, so there is nothing for it to send anywhere and nowhere for it to send it. No account is required and none exists. The developer cannot see your plants, your wishes, or whether you use the app.
Everything Baram remembers stays on your Mac, inside the app's own sandbox container, and is never transmitted:
If you allow notifications, Baram may send you a small number of local reminders: that your plant is thirsty, that it has budded or flowered, or that it has finished growing. These are local notifications, generated on your Mac by the app itself. No push service is involved, nothing leaves your computer, and no notification token is created or shared. You can turn them off at any time in System Settings, under Notifications.
Baram is suitable for all ages and collects no information from anyone, including children.
